The man behind Port Talbot’s famous rugby club has been honoured.
Aberavon RFC chairman Andrew Vaughan John has been awarded the Freedom of Neath Port Talbot for his services to the county borough for rugby football and the business community.
The prestigious honour was also presented to Glynneath entertainer Max Boyce — for his charitable work in the county and in Wales — and Seven Sisters comedian Colin Price for his services in the county borough to charitable causes.
